Telford Preschool is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) run by a Board of Trustees. The registered charity number is 1154923.
The Trustees oversee and are accountable for the financial, operational and fundraising aspects of Preschool. Preschool relies on having a Board of Trustees to be able to open as it is part of the constitution that governs Preschool.
Becoming a Trustee means going through a series of suitability checks for Ofsted and having your name on the Charity Commission website is part of this. A short induction to the role is given so that you feel fully equipped to support Preschool and there is ongoing support. If you would like more information then please contact Preschool. No early years experience is necessary, we need a wide range of skills in including finance, HR, marketing, fundraising and most importantly commitment and enthusiasm.
Trustees attend half-termly meetings and do some work in between. The work load can vary depending on what is happening at Preschool such as going through a period of recruitment, reviewing policies and procedures and planning for the future. It is a great way to directly support and influence how Preschool operates and an excellent way to make new friends.
